Chapter 111C: Section 4. Inspection of ambulances.
Section 4. Prior to issuing a license under section three, the department shall inspect each ambulance for which application is made. Each person to whom a license is issued shall be entitled to a certificate of inspection for each ambulance listed in his license upon proof that the ambulance is in compliance with such requirements as the department may establish by regulation for a certificate of inspection. Each certificate shall be valid only for the vehicle for which it is issued and to the licensee to whom it is issued, and no certificate shall continue in force after the expiration of the license under which it is issued. Each licensee issued a certificate of inspection shall cause such certificate to be displayed in such ambulance in such manner as the department may prescribe by regulation.
